Retail theft Regular high-visibility patrols have continued within local stores to deter offending and provide reassurance to staff. Work has progressed to secure Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBOs) for prolific offenders, with two successfully granted at court. Ongoing support has also been provided to assist with retail theft investigations, including evidence gathering and close partnership working with store security. Focus remains on identifying repeat offenders, progressing enforcement opportunities, and maintaining a visible policing presence within the retail sector.
Drugs Proactive patrols and targeted visits have been carried out at addresses identified through ASB and drug-related reports. Where powers allow, individuals have been arrested and removed from locations to disrupt offending behaviour. Officers are working closely with housing partners to pursue longer-term solutions, including the use of closure orders where appropriate. Ongoing efforts continue to review intelligence, identify those involved, and develop opportunities for enforcement action, including the execution of warrants to target offenders.
